this is related to the other threads about gasoline... what exactly is "Techron" and what does it do (supposedly)? do other gasolines have the same product in their gas under a different name? does it really help your car at all over other brands?

any non-biased reports? (no offense JStrider) that was somewhat helpfull, but loaded with the obvious "we are the best!" advertising in every paragraph

p.s. so we've learned that it helps engines stay clean... do other companies have similar products in their gas?

well i did a lil more googling... didnt find anything that wouldnt be biased...

All I know is that my LS1 SS LOVES Chevron Super...... It has never had a drop of anything else, My Trans Am however has had other brands of gas at times...... and she gets really pissed off, if it isn't Chevron or Union 76 Super she spits and sputters..... like she's sick, I can't blame her.... I feel the same way when someone buys me a drink and it's well booze

But only true V8 packing hotrodders can tell the difference..... because they FEEL the difference

SSophie & SSarah run on Chevron Super because It's the BEST!

most gas is the same .. i hope.. my car feels the same with 76, mobile, chevron.. even w/ techron.. or shell.. well arco.. i'm not too sure about that..
