mm.... light car, decent power, all wheel drive. and forced induction. I like it as well, though it really reminds me of the new accord from the outside, what the accord should have been under the hood. Dont really like the roundish shape and rear end very much, but the integrated exhaust tips look kinda cool. I really like what GM is doing these days, though their styling designers aren't getting what im lookin for.

Reminds me of a new Accord Coupe as far as the overall shape. Very round. Not unappealing, just not very inventive.
|
uninspired design but at least it's a more avant garde design than what we normally see from Detriot.
|
i quite like this car.
i think its really very sexy. but i canīt help but notice that it seems like a scale-less fish... maybe thats the colour... i like that interior design... but that tail has been done before hasnīt it? |
kinda reminds me of the cougar...
|
I hope there's a 2-door coupe.
If there is and it's ever released - I'm in line. |
Pretty cool. Be nice to see GM do a workable AWD car with some oomph.
|
Yeah, a 2 door would be nice, but i think i could handle that car :) nice style overall, but does remind me of the accord as well..

I actually like where Pontiac is going these days. I've always been a fan of minimalism... sleeker simpler but sharper designs.

Yeah, but this is Pontiac, originators of Ribbed For Her Pleasure cars. They've dispensed with all their crappy cladding and have built something that's really nice lookin! they'd better restyle that rear end though, or Chrysler'll come after them. Looks too much like a 300M |

Why Honda never went after Holden when they copied the Accord |
I never thought they would make an american car that I'd be attracted to until now. Very impressive styling. The stance is like a hunting cat.
|
sleek looking, that i'll say. Though I wonder how much that AWD drivetrain will hold up under abuse. Set of pulleys for that super charger and some re-mapping and this thing could be a lot of fun, with some practicality.
Bump it over 300 HP, paddle shifter and AWD? We have a winner. |
Kinda looks like the benz sl600 in a way.
|
looks disappointingly normal
|
I think I don't want AWD on a car like that......gotta smoke the tires.
|
I actually got excited for a sec when I saw that GM made a 3.5L engine that makes 280hp, 272tq -- that's almost exactly the same numbers as the 3.5VQ engine in every Nissan/Infiniti car.
Then I read the "super-charged" line :) I know having a blower on your car stock is cool, and makes it really easy to upgrade pulleys and such, but why can't GM make a decent engine? A supercharged VQ with the same roots blower will put out 350hp minimum.... |
