Sweet Viper in my area....supercharged 800hp
 

This is a sweet viper I ran into in a town about 10 miles away from home....I tried drag racing him with my 87 caddy :) Scared the shit outta me when he pinned it...he said he was pushing 800hp supercharged....

Very cool. Definately a sexy beast, though i like the new ones better. Specially the new logo. I cant imagine the low end torque that sucker is making....yeesh... At least he chose the best colors for the non-vert. He must take it up to a pretty fun speed too, to warrant the extra power and that wing....which isn't nearly as ugly as it COULD be.

With that wing it looks like the Team Orca Viper, it was in EuroTuner and Motor Trend, also in Car and Driver in a contest of the 1/4 mile, track performence, etc.. etc.. EDIT: I think it was called the Supertuner Challenge or Supercar Challenge in C&D.

It's a converted street legal race car. It 830hp, supercharged. The one in the magazine was blue with racing stripes as well. The wing is fully functional as well. Not there just for rice.

That is one sexy ride, and for all you people bitching about the wing, don't you think it might be functional when the car has over 800HP? But I guess everyone figures he was trying to "rice" it up by putting a huge wing, typical.

Reminds me of one time when a Viper was behind me, while I turning off the road and pulling into a parking lot. I went slow because of a big bump in the entrance, which I guess annoyed the Viper guy because I heard this hellacious roar as it launched and went tearing by. Those V10s sound cool. I still prefer a V8 roar, though.

personally, i think the v10 sounds like ass, but jesus christ i want 800 hp....

yea, V8s > V10s as far as sound goes.

I saw that on TV a few weeks ago on Speed. They were doing a special on the Viper and its roots in the onld Cobra design. AAt the end, they took some of the fastest they could find and showed them. It was nice.

If you like a Viper with 800HP, then you should really appreciate the Chrysler ME412. The fellows at AMG produced a 12 cylinder quad turbo powerplant for this mid engine beauty with 850HP stock!

Sweet colors, 10 dollars says the guy was a total prick though, I can't imagine that many nice guys owning this car. It's a car that says "I'm a big fat jerkward, now move". Still sick though.

Quite so, Kurant. The viper gets huge respect from me for its racing success, regularly leading home Ferraris, Porsches, Corvettes at Le Mans and elsewhere.
