I guess that we can exclude the full-size Blazers and Broncos from the "Most Capable Offroad" threads. LOL!

My boyfriend just recently lost a friend to offroading. He was driving a Samurai, and lost control, rolled it and got pinned underneath - wasn't wearing a seatbelt. His cousin (who is basically like his sister) had to hold him in her arms and watch him die. BE CAREFUL when offroading, you never know how serious it can get until its too late.....

I saw another clip similar to this where a suburban or tahoe rolled down a large slick rock hill/mountain. It seemed twice as far as this guy rolled.

I don't know if the truck had a roll cage in it but they did show the driver climbing out after it. That was unreal.

Roll bars save lives people. If in situations where you are any bit likely to roll over , just go ahead and get them.

If your offroad vehicle just so happens to be your everyday driver , then maybe you shouldn't be driving it in a place where you can completely demolish it easily.

Unless you have tons of money AND are masochistic. I know too many people who depend on their vehicles daily who have damaged them with offroad use.

for sure, the most I've ever got stuck when offroading was in a 2WD GMC sonoma and I wasn't even the one driving. It was still fun though.

Good vid btw, even though it sucks for whomever owns the truck

Ah, I guess my comments are off topic. Sorry.

I just figure you wouldn't want to deliberately trash a vehicle you are still making payments on .
