The general theme comes from these 1939 Buicks, I think.

I'm not yet sure if I like this version.

I dunno, I guess I'm tired of everybody going for the retro look cuz they can't design something new and exciting.

I think it looks badass. GM just needs to get a 455 big block under the hood, like the old Buick GS...that would rock!

We'll never get the 455, but maybe an LS1. Or the new big block out of the truck, that would rock. I think its got character. Not really my kind of car, too retro(as in old). I like old but to me 64 is really as far back as anything is worth owning.

down under, we have a term, ´only in America...´ that refers to things that are remarkably weird (to us) that Americans do or have...

i think that term is applicable in this instance for me... i mean, that is one exceptionally strange looking vehicle. it´ll never hit my shores.... which is a bit of a shame... its about time Australia got some pimp machines.

I read a write up on this car a while back. Story goes Mike Doble at Buick commishioned this car. It has design cues from 1930's and 40's Buicks. It is meerly a one of car that will never see the light of production. And the engine is a 455 circa 1970 that makes 463hp ... this car was built in 2000 in anticipation of showing during Buick's 100 anniversary in 2003

They would probably throw some piece of crap modern GM engine in it that would have a plastic intake manifold which would crack and destroy the engine.
