Mini truck - crew cab ?
I really like my Isuzu extended cab pickup. I like the smallness, the 4 cyl mileage, and having a truck box.
Unfortunatly my kids are growing, and soon will not fit well into the back seat. I was wondering the other day why no auto companies make a full crew cab mini truck. My friend told me they are all over in other countries so I just did a quick search for Nissan gobal. This pics are from the middle east division. http://www.nissan-me.com/pickup/imag...kup_ext_m1.jpg http://www.nissan-me.com/pickup/imag...kup_ext_m4.jpg http://www.nissan-me.com/pickup/imag...kup_ext_m2.jpg This from the mexican site. http://www.nissancamiones.com.mx/ima...eria/foto1.jpg http://www.nissancamiones.com.mx/ima...eria/foto3.jpg Toyota too http://fr.toyota.ch/media/global/ima..._gal_06_im.gif I would love to see something like this in North America! |
Nissan makes a crew cab Frontier. Not a bad truck. Chevrolet also makes a Crew Cab S-10. Pretty much everybody has a Crew Cab "little" truck.

Dodge Dakota Quad Cab. Full size. Fits easily four adults. Not too too bad for five adults. Comes in a 6 cylinder (but I wouldn't recomend it). And it's available in North America.

The Nissan does come in crew cab form... it looks a lot like the xterra. I think its a 6 though, but usually gas mileage doesn't suffer too much based on engine size alone, it has a lot to do with the weight of the vehicle/gearing.
