Cool Trucks
I think there are a lot of cool trucks out there. If you have one or a few that you like, post pics of it here and maybe include any description or commentary that you care to add. Feel free to elaborate on any truck theme of your liking.
I was inspired to start this thread when I saw a Ford F650 pickup truck pull into the parking lot of a local pub where I was eating lunch. Since you can see the parking lot from the bar and restaurant, it attracted a lot of comments and attention. Here's what an F650 looks like: And since Shaquille O'Neal is a big guy, he has a big F650 truck: Since I like hot rods, one of my favorite hot rod theme trucks is one by the famous car builders, the Blastolene brothers, called Sneaky Pete since it's made from a Peterbilt truck: And since I like beer and my buddy recently sent me a link with these, here's a cool bunch of old beer trucks: |

Having driven trucks for several years, I love these pics.
If I had the money, something like that Peterbilt hotrod would be a daily driver for me. If I could get it registered here in OZ......

Zook, talking with cars guys from Oz I'm usually surprised at how "restrictive" the regulations are there for legal vehicles. It seems like such a wide open, anything goes place but I guess all is not as it appears.
However, on private property almost anything goes, so Australia has what seems to be the longest "road train" on record: The final tally is in. John Atkinson from Brisbane used a single prime mover (truck tractor) to pull 112 trailers for 100 metres. The record road train stretched almost 1.5 kilometres (1 mile) in length. A new entry in the Guinness Book of World Records. February 18, 2006 |
