Zook, talking with cars guys from Oz I'm usually surprised at how "restrictive" the regulations are there for legal vehicles. It seems like such a wide open, anything goes place but I guess all is not as it appears.
However, on private property almost anything goes, so Australia has what seems to be the longest "road train" on record: The final tally is in. John Atkinson from Brisbane used a single prime mover (truck tractor) to pull 112 trailers for 100 metres. The record road train stretched almost 1.5 kilometres (1 mile) in length. A new entry in the Guinness Book of World Records.
