The TRON Custom Chopper

Isn’t it about time you purchased your very own custom-built street-legal Tron Light Cycle? The folks at Parker Brothers Custom Choppers certainly think so! The Parker Brothers team is building 5 custom one off “Lightcycles” to theI know... I know. I'm once again late in delivering the news on this; (now appoximately two weks past due) but disregarding the implicit fact that neither one of us here actually had a realistc shot at coming close to bidding, and subesquently purchasing, one of these marvels of real movie-motoring magic, how do you feel about these choppers? Are you glad to see they now actually exist? (though I doubt they can do even 2% of what they were "capable of" in the movie.) Do you think the above asking price of $35G was reasonable? I thought so. It's a limited edition of FIVE, and each one is uniquely color-coded, so that no other version in the world is the same as another (save for engineering specs). I'm actually wondering now if there was a waitlist for anyone of these bikes, or if one was promised to an entitled celebrity or not; because if what I'm half-envisioning to be the truth, the folkss at Parker Brothers Custom Choppers might have just allowed any joe schmo on eBay to bid and own a piece of movie history. It looks like it handles like a brick, so I doubt anyone will do much riding on one. It would be wicked to be passed by one on the interstate when it's pitch black, though. |
haha I posted this all over my social networks n such when it hit, but I wouldn't want to bid unless I saw a video of it in action with a real person on it. Cuz I mean it sounds awesome on paper but when fantasy meets reality it often looks like
