'10 GT. Track Package. Security Package. Electronics Package.

Oh my. That looks like a sweet car to tool around the countryside in. And the leather interior really pops. Enjoy what is hopefully a long and beautiful relationship.

KirStang 02-14-2010 11:45 AM

Vroom Vroom. I remember when I got my Mustang. Such a great feeling. How many HP? What does it run the quarter in? Do you plan on tuning it more?

Hah. I put HIDs and a chin spoiler on my car in December. God I love my car. Too bad it hates the snow =P.

Pearl Trade 02-14-2010 12:11 PM

Fucking beautiful, man. The entire ride...awesome.

315 BHP

Mine has the "track package" with the 3.73 axle and Pirelli PZero summer tires. I believe it'll take the quarter mile in the low 13s at around 106 mph.

It already has stabilizer bars from the Shelby GT-500 and dual-piston front brake calipers with performance pads from the '09 Bullitt. It also sounds like the '09 Bullitt.

The next step is a supercharger but I'm in no hurry.

You should move out here to California. Your Mustang will love you for it.

nice.... my wife would hate the red leather.

longbough 02-14-2010 12:31 PM

Funny, my wife was actually the one who talked me into the red leather.
The red isn't as harsh as the photos look ... it's actually more of a coral red.
I love it.

Atreides88 02-14-2010 12:37 PM

Very nice, I especially dig the red interior. My roommate just bought a GT in Midnight Blue and paid to have a silver shelby stripe added. Mustangs are sweet cars.

Xerxys 02-14-2010 01:27 PM

Your rubbing it in eh? The ford Mustang is my dream vehicle. It's not at all showy or over sophisticated like many other high priced sports cars such as the corvette etc etc.

Very cool!

I must say that the look of the 'Stang has finally moved back into the right direction. It looked pretty much like ass until around 2004 when they started making it as it now looks.

I must also say that you get a lot of car for what you pay for them.

Plan9 02-14-2010 05:47 PM

Forget the car, where have you been? We, the gun crowd, have missed you.

Gee. I didn't know I was missed. I'll be sure to swing by "weapons."

powerclown 02-15-2010 12:55 PM

Looks great in black. Nice wheels...those 10-spoke outlined jobs are weird. How do you like driving it? Did you get the SYNC infotainment option with the navigation?

The Mustang and the Corvette are not in the same class... performance or price.

You might want to compare the Mustang to the new Camaro.

Yeah. Got the SYNC system. Pretty neat. The whole electronics package is nicer than the Lexus I used to drive

I thought about the Camaro but I liked the Mustang styling much more. The Camaro has a striking look, but I can imagine the novelty wearing off. The Mustang has a much more timeless look to my eye.
I also liked the Mustang's interior more than the Camaro's. The Camaro has crappy visibility from the driver's seat.
Sure the SS will beat the GT in terms of performance but nobody said I couldn't slap on a supercharger some day if I wanted more oomph. I haven't driven the Camaro but the Mustang GT supposedly handles better - especially with the "track package" which I have.

Then there's the Dodge Challenger. I really LOVE the look of that car but it's just too damn big and heavy. The Mustang was much more fun to drive.

blahblah454 02-16-2010 08:43 AM

That is a sexy car!! I hope you really enjoy it.

Living in Canada I miss seeing nice cars in the winter, but come spring they roll out in hordes! Aaaaahhhh summer!

Lasereth 02-16-2010 10:02 AM

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

BadNick 02-17-2010 07:29 PM

very nice...congrats and good luck with it. The black car with red interior has always been a very attractive combination to me

powerclown 07-07-2010 06:49 PM

So how are you liking this car a few months on? I went and test drove a 2010 exactly like yours minus the 19" wheels and no nav, and it was a blast. Very, very visceral car to drive; tight and responsive and smooth shifting. Love the steering feel. Been thinking about buying a 2011...I hear there is a long delay when ordering one to spec though. Do you think the Electronics Pkg is worth it?

Redjake 07-11-2010 01:43 AM

Me likey!

Quick69 07-13-2010 01:23 PM

nice purchase, car looks great in black

sweetwynn 07-14-2010 09:33 PM
