1976 camaro help!
i have a 76 camaro it runs fine and everything but my reverse lights dont work.. i replaced the bulbs and still they do not light up. some one told me that the stearing collum had somthing to do with it can anyone help me ? i need to get this car inspected so i can start driving it thanks.

That means the switch is on the trans. Look towards the rear top-that is where there will usually be a connector that signals the reverse lights. If access is bad from below, you might have to tear out some interior to get at it from the top. Test the connections first and only change the part when you confirm that the switch failed.

No offense but judging by your approach in here is seems that you really do not know enough to do any work on your car. Take it to a mechanic or a friend that knows more than you and pay them to diagnose and solve the problem. If you are interested, ask to have them explain what they are doing step by step but it sounds like you are interested in a cheap fix more than actually learning to wrench.
