Speed(vision) used to carry a lot more rally, ice racing, airplane racing, F1, etc. I never understood why they dumbed it down by focusing so much on NASCAR. Carry the big races, sure, but why drive off those of us who are racing fans but who don't think watching shiny objects go in circles for 2 hours is all that interesting?

Speed was bought by Fox a few years ago, hence all of the NASCAR coverage. I remember watching a lot of DTM, WRC, touring cars before that.

NewsCorp owns 1/3rd of SPEED. Fox Sports used SPEED as a bargaining tool to win broadcasting rights for NASCAR programming. I do believe that the NASCARization of SPEED is why many non-NASCAR race fans hate that kind of racing so passionately.

Takes a certain kind of crazy to drive like that. Lots of close calls. I enjoyed the video very much, and the music as well, thanks for sharing.
