2CV on steroids !
:eek:xoxoxoo |
So much power wasted on such an ugly car!!
|
This reminds me of a French version of Ferrambo. I like Ferrambo better than this 2CV.
|
you,ve gotta love that
|
that's just a 2CV shell on a ground-up racer. I tend to prefer the actual car made fast. . . Like the nut that took a late 80's volvo and dropped a turbo LS1 motor into it.

some where there is a twin engine 2CV that was made for ralley racing?.....xoxoxoo

now THAT, is cool.
Strange that they'd go to all the trouble of crafting a dual engine setup only to end up with a total of 4 cylinders ;) |
The 2CV and it's 2 engine sibling ("desert beast") were made to rather special requirements. "Citroen's 2CV is among the most evocative of French icons. A small-engined, medium-sized car designed to provide realistically-priced transport to rural France, the 2CV launches in 1949 to assist in the country's postwar reconstruction.
Famously, it had to be capable of tansporting four people or two farmers with a 50-kilogram weight of baggage (a bag of potatoes) across a ploughed field, without breaking the eggs that they carried with them in a basket. It was to have a maximum speed of 65 kilometers per hour." Taken from Citroen 2CV - AutomoBear.com The 2 engine thingy was designed for military use or desert use, where they added redundancy to the 2CV formula (2 engines, gearboxes and fuel tanks).
