"Official F-1" thread ... Japan
the title is Hamiltons to lose, lets see if he can keep his head and move on....xoxoxoo
In a surprisingly incident free afternoon free practice session at Fuji Speedway, Timo Glock set the pace for Toyota. The German racer lapped the 4.563km circuit in a best time of 1:18.383s, less than a tenth ahead of his nearest rival and with one second covering the top 17 runners. The second 90-minutes of running in Japan saw most opt to run both the soft and the hard tyres and it was Glock who was amongst the first on the option rubber who moved to the head of the timesheets with a time that eclipsed Lewis Hamilton’s morning best, and then remained at the top as the chequered flag fell. Fernando Alonso continued his and Renault’s recent run of form with the second fastest time in the much-improved R28, lapping just 0.043s off the ultimate pace. Championship leader Lewis Hamilton was third fastest in his McLaren Mercedes just ahead of the Ferrari duo of Felipe Massa and Kimi Raikkonen. |
F1 is going green!!! And to drive home the point, the tires will have green stripes painted on them. No shit.

Yeah that one was pretty exciting, glad I caught it live. That picture sure is at the right time. Hopefully we'll see the end of such problems for Ferrari, so they can wrap the season up for a win.

and speaking of the Singapore race............
http://img248.imageshack.us/img248/4...ingapurre4.jpg BTW - I do not understand how Bourdais could be penalized for the incident with Massa. Too many penalties in F1 these days. Way too many. Let them race and determine the results on the track. |
That's hilarious!!!

I'm not suggesting that Massa should have been penalized, I think it was just a racing incident. But I certainly can't see how Sebastian was at fault. |
