Snakeyes

I've been looking into bikes for trailriding up at my cottage. I've never owned a dirtbike of my own, but I've ridden my friends' enough to have a solid grip on riding. I think, because it's just a leisure thing, I'll be looking at 4 stroke bikes under $2000 CDN.

So far I've got my sights set on a perfect little '84 XR200R. Its plastic, engine, rubber, everything's in immaculate condition. My problem is, I don't know anyone that's owned one, so I don't know about it.

Anyone out there that's owned or at least ridden one give me some impressions?

well i have ridden like a 98 xr200r. it was a great trail bike. i loved it. i have a 97 xr100r that is mine that i loved when i was a little shorter.....i just wish it was a xr200r now....i loved my friends bike.

snakeyes, that xr200r is a solid bike. if the price is right, snatch that baby up.
