When I first saw this car I was almost blown away. I really love it, and too bad it wasn't on the market two months ago when I bought a new car because I'm sure I'd buy one of these. Although, the purple looking interior has to go. I want mine all black with a cool electric blue glow on the dash..... Then it would be the coolest interior I've ever seen in a car. Somehow I have a feeling Ford will blow it and not even sell it in America because I'm sure something like this would cannibalize Focus sales, unless the next gen Focus is designed from this.

Anyway, I'm just curious what others think of it. I guess if you don't like small hatchbacks like myself you may hate ite it. If interested <a href="http://www.seriouswheels.com/cars/2007/top-2007-Ford-Verve-Concept.htm"><b>LINKY</b></a> to article.

Aside from the interior dash that looks like a friggin' Motorola RAZR keypad (which I loathe, by the way), it doesn't look too bad. However, I don't really see these getting too popular in the United States but I've been wrong before.

To me it looks like a smaller version of the CX-7/9 series (Ford Edge platform?) w/a Chrysler M grille. Curious if Mazda is going to use that platform and styling in their future line-up.

Next year I'm looking at the Mazda CX-9 so it's got my "I likey" vote :)

Stylish little car...very flashy interior. Be nice if you could change the interior panel lighting color like in the new Mustang. Maybe the next-generation Focus?

i actually read an article a few days ago saying that ford credited many of their styling cues from a cell phone, so you are dead on

It's design fits with Ford of Europe's current design scheme (which I wish they'd bring home - much better designs than we have here).

I think I saw a Ford on the road the other day pretty similiar to this but as an SUV hybrid. Any ideas?

I read another article today that says this may be the Fiesta replacement so it probably won't be sold in the US.

it looks like the evolution of the ford focus design team or something.

the euro looking grille turns me off tho.

That's just ugly. Typical Ford. This new front end design they have here in the states...think '08 Taurus...is hideous.

What is with the trend to make car grilles look like big frowning mouths?

I like the color combo of the interior. The exterior looks like a Focus to me.

The body reminds me of the old 80's Honda CRX, which isn't that bad a thing, but it's not new.

The interior is very high tech/scifi-ish and the seats look very comfortable.

When I put all those together and the fact it is a Ford.... I come up with a nice looking decent priced car but trouble running and expensive to fix.

I like the car and the babe is very nice and hot ...and fortunately for me, reminds me of my dearest love wife. I think this car would sell well in the U.S. and I've often been right about my automotive marketing predictions in the past.

Just another ugly round bubble looking econamy car. Most likely built for the average 5 foot tall american midget. Someday i would like to find a new affordable car big enough for someone 6 foot tall and with enough leg room so i dont bang my knees on the door or center console. But... i wont get my hopes up.

If only I could find my big puking smiley throwing up a waterfall of smaller puking smileys ...
