Toyota Avalon Taillight - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

So I'm having a heck of a time trying to find a passenger side taillight for my Avalon. I've contacted junkyards and used parts stores online. Before I break completely down and call the dealer (and fork over mega bucks) I thought I'd try here.

Needed: Passenger side tail light
Make: Toyota
Model: Avalon XLS
Year: 1997

For some reason they ALL defaulted to the driver's side taillight and would not let me change it. All the quotes I got were incorrect. This is just so anyone else will keep that in mind if they do a search.

However, those used/salvaged car part searches did get me the numbers of a lot of junk yards around so I finally located the correct part somewhere in FL and it's on it's way.

Too bad I didn't see this a few weeks ago - I wrecked my '97 Avalon when I got t-boned by a speeding truck in a red light. I know of several salvage yards in Phoenix that might be able to sell you the right parts in the future - PM me if you want their phone numbers.

You can try Budget Auto Salvage out of Tulsa, OK they carry alot of Toyota related products.

Wait nevermind but if anyone needs any foriegn car stuff specifically honda or toyta these guys are quite the resource.
