and a lonely sea

An empty cavern
a burning sun
will I know if you're the one?

These four things
I do feel strong
I just hope it won't be long.

So much for out of sight out of mind. Putting the emotions of missing one who's gone afar into 3 stanza's is impressive enough. Waiting is the hardest? Good piece. Hope the wait isn't too long for you as well.

Your poem reminds me of one I wrote a couple of years ago. It's lovely. But, I can't help asking has it worked out for you, relationship wise?
