Weekly Workout 1
 

As this is our first attempt....lets make things relatively easy.

Pick an emotion, Tell us all how it feels.
Use whatever writting form you wish.

Sadness, an empty hole
Spiraling down and out
No use flapping broken wings
My life has been cut short

I very much hope this is an example of the quality we have in store in this little experiment. Well done, Quite a bit of emotion incorporated into those few lines, splendid.

There can be but one
Sensitive to my warmth
Hidden as it is
Only a singlular chance

My open eyes were not enough
That telling moment almost missed
If not for fate
I would dwell alone with a hollow companion

Truly, some goddess has embraced my soul
To be a tear in her eye
This gift of love
No other could mend the fractured face of bliss

There can be only one, and she is my heart
She is myself, she is all

Well you just knocked me off my chair.... Come on people, contribute... This could be a kick ass Idea, if we all jump in...

I'm workin on it! It just takes a few days to get the thoughts together :p I'm working today, so that'll probably help spur things :)

Emotionless man sitting alone
Wondering what a feeling means
Wondering what he does not know
Sitting alone through life it seems

Staring at people as the laugh and cry
Wondering what they are feeling and why
Wondering if ever he'll feel something before he will die
Not knowing to himself he does lie

For the man feels something
He just won't admit
His denial is still feeling something
But he will claim to feel nothing cause he just can't quit

Life in a glass
So many people waiting for it
to fall so they can get out
They see all the stuff they want
but when falls would they get out..
There so used to black and white..
They dont know how to live in color...

I would write a post something, but I haven't broken my writer's block yet. Though I will admit that I've been partying and hangin' with friends a little too much to have any time this week to try to break it... Perhaps tomorrow, but no guarantees. I figure if you want deep emotion from me, my lit thread is full of it, but that's still not an excuse to not post my work here. I guess I just need to sit down and see what comes to me...

Pounding the table with fustration
Banging my head against the wall
Annoyed with this writter's block
