Childhood slipped away
So now I'm a boy among men Where's my mommy? Where's my dad? Gentle words and candy kisses Lost without you Lost without me Lost within me Where's my safe place gone? I went there once to hide But the bogeyman moved in He pays rent I don't pay rent I have no say I have no control I'm lost and I'm falling and I I just don't know where I go from here Listening to her mourn She's softly praying to God What do I do now?
