Ministories

Here are a couple of ministories I wrote a few days ago. Minstories have 150 words or less. I prolly should have posted only one at a time. I shall behave better next time.

* Larry the Locksmith (59 words, inc. title) *

Larry's still gone. A lockout called at eleven last night with a voice much like the one that calls and asks for Gloria. Wrong number, but Larry seems to go out shortly after. Every time.

I lipstick for work now, at seven. I'm loathe to leave this house, but what good would it do to change the locks?

* Book Club (30 words, inc. title) *

I'm positive I sent those cards back.

I wade through the piles. Arms stuck out for balance, standing up here on this pile of books, peering out the window, I can see my mailbox quite clearly. Hey! There's a goat pulling mail out... how long has she been doing that?

The last one is funny ^_^ It had me laughing. I actually do have a pile of CDs at home now. you know why?? Cause I send back the envelopes unopened saying "CANCEL" like they told me to do if I ever wanted to cancel my membership. Now they just won't stop sending me CDs or the cards for them! Save me. i wish i had a goat.

YAY Goats! :D

You say my story's funny -- thanks! And limey? If you want a goat to eat those CDs, I think you might have to take them out of the hard cases.

Off the subject, but you know what those CDs aol keeps sending you are good for? You take four of them and they're great for helping move refrigerators.

I have more stories, but it's your turn. Go for it.

What fun stories!
Thank you for sharing. Please give us more!

Thanks! This one was published, so the copyright's not mine any more, but I am sure it's ok to share with friends.

Online

We flipped a coin for our first face-to-face meeting. He chose the bookstore; I was halfway in love.

aaaack! I didn't know Orionath was logged in on this computer. I wrote the above post. I admit it.

How do I know if you are you?
Was it heads or tails?

Unsung 05-09-2003 08:49 PM

I don't remember whether it was heads or tails. You're the one who flipped the darned thing. If it's really you.

Hmmm. So, was it a dime or a quarter?
