Death's hand upon my shoulder, but I smile.
Cupid's arrow in my chest, and I turn away.
The world is upside-down.

Fire in my blood, but cold eyes.

Where is the answer?
You bring me questions,
I have only more.
I know nothing.

I am not afraid.

Dreaming of the road,
too lazy to leave the house.

Not all that dwells in shadow is born of darkness.
Not all those with wings are angels.
The light shines brightest in the dark.

Chained by an unknown past,
free enough for now.
