Raw War
 

Raw are the visions I see of this war
War is the thing that made my heart raw
Raw are emotions in this time of life
War is the reason some leave this here life
Raw are the tears of families of soldiers
War means some wont be home again ever
Raw are the lives that are broken and gone
War takes away all and answers to none
Raw is the man whose killing for peace
War makes a man evil that once was a saint
Raw are the babies that breathe in the gas
War solves what it starts without any loss
I think I could live without this here war
If only the peace were taught to be raw
The evil inside of one that is human
The Inhumane actions that started this war
The raw killing people that kill of their own
And beg for a war so that they’ll be known
War brings out a rawness of life
And makes me feel raw, like cut with a knife
