Its raining outside right now. Not a whole lot to do tonight considering the weather, but I think I might take a trip down to the lake all the same and see if the boat is still there. I miss taking it out fishing with you. You realize that its been 16-months since the last time I saw you now?

For some reason, my mind always comes back to memories of spending time with you when it rains. I don't know why.

Remember that time when we were together on the beach? Yeah, Mom and Dad were with us too. I don't remember where we were exactly. Somewhere on the Outerbanks, I think. I want to go back out there and May to see if I can find the spot that we spent the night as a family. As you can imagine, Mom and Dad won't be going with me. They don't talk about that trip much anymore, but then again, they don't talk about you very much anymore. Too soon, I suppose.

I'll see Madeline tomorrow and I'll say, "hello," for you.
