Once home I run to my bed.
There is comfort in the tousled sheets and pillows.
Though it always seems you’re never left alone,
even when you want to be left alone.

Groggy Froggy comes to
Just long enough to laugh at my doleful display.
“Yes, we’re all watching you silly.”
“Silly, Silly boy.”

I turn round to notice Never Egy Teddy.
Teddy knows I envy
His innocent, fuzzy existence.
Red bow.
Pink nose.
Perpetual smile.
Always here with his friends.
Always there for his friends.
Across the room.
He just shakes his head.
I think I’ll call him Repugnant Teddy from now on.

Watching them, my mind wanders.
One fractured thought after another
Making the feelings worse,
then better,
then worse again.

I know Dopey Dragon detests these displays.
Despises the attachment, partiality, …
Love.

But all I care about now is her.
Shunned on the playground in the morning,
Then I saw her with Billy after school.

I look for sympathy amongst the plushy gallery
And they all turn away in disgust,
angry I would neglect them for a girl.

Just how bad is it when your only friends won’t listen?

I like the whole personality of the animals, i bet Billy doesn't have any friends.
