A Place I Go
 

As everyone passed me by,
I thought I was going to cry.
No one ever noticed me,
So I just let it be.
Love had got me in a bind,
And it drove me out of my mind.
Everything made me feel so sad,
While everyone thought that I was mad.
There's a place I go,
Where no one knows.
You can't go through a door,
There isn't even a floor.
As foolish as it seems,
This is where I go in dreams.
Then I saw what I did not expect,
As if my mind had gotten off set.
Through the wall I could see,
A true love that was meant for me.
People vanished all around,
With out even the slightest sound.
I couldn't explain what I felt,
But this is the hand that I was dealt.
I saw you above a tear,
As you took away all my fear.
I never expected this,
Until true loves first kiss.
I never had a love so real,
But you taught me how to feel.
I didn't know what to do,
With a love so true.
This is something I have never known,
And I don't want to be alone.
I mean this with nothing less,
To you I do confess.
There's a place I go,
Where everyone knows.
But there's no need for alarm,
Because it's in your arms.
