Hard To Say
 

This is one of the first poems I've written, it was even published in a book.

What I feel for you,
is hard to say.
The moment I saw you,
my heart went insane.

You are so perfect,
with your dark hair and eyes.
If only I could tell you,
but it's hard to say.

I think I'm falling in love,
but do you even see?
I can't seem to get your attention,
or do you look the other way?

I want to reach out to you,
but I can never get close.
I want to feel your warmth,
but all I feel is this chill.

My friends say I should go for it,
just do what I feel is right.
Everyone knows I want to,
but it's hard to say.

This is so true and profound.
Your words touch a feeling I have recently experienced.
