when she lays down her head
next thing I climb in bed

as we travel and search
contours and curves so smooth
light kisses and soft touch
thats how you make your way

so now who will take the lead?
what fun things will we do next?
both in a fresh experience

I don't wanna waste your time

when dealing with matters of the heart
hoping they won't shatter
no one letting tears fall
or drown their misery in alcohol

holding each other on a mountainside
looking forward whilst we're side by side
will these feelings race up or down?
maybe stay moderate on common ground

late night cuddles with sweet nothings
ears to hear, fingers that touch
how is it we seem to care this much?
