Spring has come, the leaves are starting grow much like a child into an adult. Growth, new soil and nurturing, will this new heart to life and in full bloom.

Some really great work here, Angel. "When I Close My Eyes" totally blew me away... just amazing. One of the best things I've read in a long time. I'm only mildly disappointed you're not a professional song writer, since with some simple arrangement, that becomes the next hit of soulfull singer/songwriters everywhere!

Does your poetry come with thought and reflection or purely from inspiration?

Also, how much work do you put into editting?

My poetry comes from all three of what you mentioned and more.

As far as editting, I tend to do very little. I prefer to keep the raw emotion that comes out as I am feeling it.

This latest poem is tremendously beautiful...but if I may say so, I think the rhythm seems a little forced in some lines. Maybe try:

"Relaxing my soul, I need no longer wait"

"You released my spirit, opened up my heart"

Obviously it can be refined further still, I just wanted to give an idea of what could be done. I don't want to feed lines to you. Aside from those two rhythmic touches, I have to compliment you on your use of rhyme, as well as the sincerity that is in this poem. Kudos to you!

For every personal mountain ones climbs and conquers, many many rocky paths must be crossed. I bet once you reached the peek of your mountain and started to breath that clear air of achievement, harmony followed.

I can only say that you words reached somewhere deep inside me and touched me. Your writing is so beautiful. It seems that no matter what you write about, you always find a way to express exactly what you want to say. The feelings you express are so true that one cannot help but be touched when reading your words. I can only hope to someday be able to express myself as well as you do.

Ah, and my dear sweet friends seek me. Thank you for thinking of me. I am doing well and my life is more fulfilling than ever.

I haven't written for some time but I feel myself being driven to the pen and paper as of late. Love and contentment of the soul have a way of doing that! :)

I am finding myself pulled here lately and missing all of you. I'll have to get my "significant other" here more often and TFP will have yet another couple on the board and in the family. :D
