The Battle
It courses through my veins, Day in and day out. Upsetting the very core of my being, poisoning my body and mind. The pain is deep and raw. The demon rages on... it eats me from the inside, out. The battle continues. Comments (and critiques) encouraged... |

So it begins. Every single word is bitter sweet. Your dulcet whispers so touching. Not for my ears. Not for my ears. Every glace, a wistful stare. Your eyes, your beautiful eyes. I see a dark haired angel in them. Your touch, a rush of yearing. Every brush of skin a rash of hope. You cringe yet don't pull away. A dying flame. A tiny flicker. A silence. It ends. Comments and critiques encouraged. |
