Where does everyone go at night
when its dark outside there’s no moon in sight
where does everyone leave to play
because I always get left here so far away

how can I join in the center group
and be a part of the members troop
where the laughter comes from you know what I mean
that place that always seems to be the scene

where do they go when I look around
the room is all empty I can’t hear a sound
I close my eyes and dream of a day
when I don’t have to go to my room to stay

inside me their is reasoning,
inside me their is rhyme,
inside me their is an echoing,
aging without time.

a family tree uprooted,
the branches dry and bare,
inside me their is a nothingness,
though never do i share.

days and days of afterthoughts,
you wonder what they do,
remind me of the memories,
old dreams, that never came true.

inside me their is mistrust,
inside me their is pain,
inside me is an emptiness,
where i dance in tears like rain.
