A Vampire Story...at least a sample of one
~So here is a peice I have already finished. This is only a very small sample of it and if there are any vampire lovers out there, then you may like this story. I have thought of the ending I chose and I may end up changign it becuase I may write more books to it. But tell me what you think and if you want me to add more let me know.~ As I slowly made my way around the cemetery, I noticed this guy sitting up against a tree. He had obviously been crying because I could hear his sobs a mile away, and could smell his hot salty tears in the wind. As I got closer, I could see him perfectly in the moonlight. He had a medium build, dim blue eyes, short blonde hair that was hidden under a light blue hat, and I could tell that he was somewhat tall by the how he slouched. In addition, he actually was not too bad looking either. I glided quickly across the grass, past the graves and stood behind the tree he sat against. He did not know I was there, and could not hear me if he tried. I am a Vampire of 500 years and know my ins and outs of this place. I suppose it was a good thing that I had been embraced when I was young, because my features stayed the same when I loved them the most. I was at the perfect age of eighteen. I had long silky black hair; bright green eyes, was at the perfect weight and height, and had fair features that included flawless skin. Nothing much had changed after I had been reborn except that my eyes are not always green, my skin toughened up some, and my senses had tripled. My eyes turn to a deep dark red when I am angry or feeding, but that is the only change in my beautiful green eyes. As I peaked at him from around the tree, I could feel pain radiating from him do fiercely that it almost sent me dizzy. “What’s the matter?” I asked, slowly moving around the tree to him. He jumped at the sound of my voice, and then looked up at me. “Nothing. Just leave me alone please.” He said staring ahead of him, still obviously upset. I could hear what was on his mind, but I decided not to comment on what he had been thinking to avoid him becoming hysteric. “Really, nothing? That is not what your tears are saying. Talk to me, I’m a good listener.” I said leaning up against a large tombstone that stood in front of him. Then realizing I had forgot my manners, I added, “By the way, my name is Elinea D’Amerique. What’s yours, if I may ask?” “My name is Kent Spaulding, and forget it. It’s my problem and you can’t help me anyway.” He grumbled burying his head in his hands. “You don’t know that. Sometimes I can be very helpful. Especially if you’re in pain.” I said fixing my necklace. He slowly lifted his head to look up at me. Tears filled his eyes and he cringed because of the fact someone witnessed him crying. “Pain. Yeah, that word seems to always go hand-in-hand with love. I have had so much heartache that it sickens me now. Having it all end would be nice.” He said, then shot me a look and added, “ And don’t look at me like that. Ending my life would be worth it.” I smiled. He did not know what I was, and he seemed very worthy of turning. “Then I can help.” I said pushing myself off the tombstone, and walked over to him. He suddenly stood up; his face turned to confusion, then slightly to fear. Many thoughts raced through his mind, so I could not understand much of it. “Listen, I can end your suffering and replace it with peace. But only if you are willing.” I said finally looking into his eyes. He watched me in silence, still trying to figure me out. “Who are you? Are you some kind of angel or something?” He finally asked, stepping a little bit closer to me.
