a love letter
This is a simple note meant merely to convey the depth of my feelings for you, but as pen touches paper I find there is only those words spoken before, but still meanigful in their simplicity. Neither those words, nor any others can convey what it means to simply love and be loved by you. All I am left with is the words used by generations; I love you.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm going to visit my bf in TO in a couple of weeks. I'll be staying at his place for a week but he won't be there - he has to leave for work. I was thinking of handwriting this note into one of those cards that is blank but has a black and white photo on the front and either leaving it at his place for when he gets back - or hiding it in his luggage before he goes. It's really hard for me to be openly honest about feelings and such so it was a struggle to not make a joke in this note but is not in my nature to be overly romantic (gushy) either. I think (?) this is a good balance. Any thoughts?

Definitely hide it in the luggage. Notes like that can melt the heart of the hardest man. You'll be surprised at how gushy he gets.

Hide it in the luggage. To me it shows planning and a deeper sense of "I am telling you this because I mean it. I don't want to fuck it up by being there when you read it."
Alas, I had a love note stashed away in luggage that was not found. If you do, make sure you use flourescent orange paper and put it right on top. Not finding it is REALLY BAD.

So I found a couple of cards with black and white photos. non I love but they'll do if I can't find anything better.
I'll prob throw the card into his book or carry on - in an obvious place - (thanks BigBen!).
