Anyone try Focus Factor?

I hear ads for this stuff all the time on the radio.. they call it a brain supplement.. has anyone tried it or know anyone who has?

I'd post more info on it, but I'm not quite sure how to without making it seem like a plug.

I'm curious to try it myself, but it is pretty damn expensive!

Just to help the cause:

(too good to be true??)
---------------------------------------------------------------

Your Brain is a Very Important Organ in Your Body.
It is made up of more than 10 billion nerve cells and over 50 billion other cells. Normal brain function is important in daily life. Supporting normal brain function is essential to your health.

Supporting your Brain Function
Focus Factor ™ is a dietary supplement that has a unique blend of vitamins, minerals, protective antioxidants, botanical extracts and omega-3 oils. It can easily take the place of your current multivitamin. It is formulated to be safe and effective.

The Focus Factor ™ Formulation
The key to the formulation of Focus Factor ™ is the nutrients and their sources. The sources are the ingredients in parentheses listed after each nutrient on the Focus Factor ™ label. The ingredients and their sources are carefully chosen to support normal brain function.

For example, Focus Factor ™contains natural beta-carotene like that found in fruits and vegetables. There is no cheap, synthetic beta-carotene in the product. This is important because natural beta-carotene provides a whole family of carotenoids. Natural vitamin E, derived from the soybean, is included rather than the less expensive, synthetic version.

There are six separate forms of vitamin C in Focus Factor ™. There are also very specific and expensive forms of B vitamins in Focus Factor ™ such as vitamin B-6 from alpha-ketogluterate. There are three different sources of magnesium: from malate, citrate and taurinate.

Different than the Rest: the Proprietary Component
While you may have heard of most of the vitamins and minerals listed on the Focus Factor ™ label, the formulation includes other nutrients that help support normal brain function. These are listed on the label under the heading, "Synergistic and proprietary formulation."

These include:
DMAE, a natural substance found in fish.
Herb and plant extracts, such as Bacopa, Huperzine, and Vinpocetine. These ingredients have been consumed for thousands of years.
DHA, a major fatty acid. A natural form of DHA is included in both the adult and children's formulas.

Focus Factor ™ contains no stimulants. It has NO caffeine, ephedra or ma huang.

just called the place for the "free sample."

Not that I didn't expect this, nor do I really blame them - at least they were open and honest about it when I asked - but the way the free sample works is that you pay for shipping for a free bottle and then you have about 2 weeks to CANCEL further shipments after that. In other words, if you don't cancel, they will charge your credit or debit card for a second bottle and shipping and send it to you.

Not unlike those CD programs - of course, if you know how to work them correctly, there are some definite benefits to those CD programs ;) Similarly, I imagine so long as you remember to cancel the further shipments, you can try out something that would normally cost $75 for $5.

If you do decide to try out that free bottle, be sure to report back. I'd do it myself out of curiosity but I don't have a credit or debit card....and I probably lack the focus to remember to cancel the further shipments ;) :)
