favorite names?
 

The wife is having a baby... we have agreed on a girl name but lack the agreement of a boy name. We want a good name, one thats not common but not frickin weird.

Any suggestions?

My third child was supposed to be Andrew; she turned out to be Andrea, so you can use Andrew if you wanna.

Personally, I like "Molly" as a female name. For a guy, well... Hm. Well, whatever names you use, please choose one that is clearly one sex or the other. It sucks to encounter someone with an unclear name and get the pronoun wrong.

William Joseph James Robert. That way you can call him Billy Joe Jim Bob.

Actually, I want to call my first two children "Ingaid" and "Quat". So I can say "Here, Ingaid! Come, Quat!"

No, but seriously, if you want great sounding names that are original in the U.S., look up names from other cultures. There are many that sound good in English and have good meanings.
