I have a sort of embarassing problem...
Well, you see, the head of my penis has red dots on it. There's virtually no chance that I have an STD, and it's not painful or anything, so I don't really want to go to the doctor if I don't have to. Does anyone know what this could be, or if it's natural?

If there's no chance of an STD it could just be some mild irritation. POSSIBLY Jock Itch. If you get some Clortrimazole and rub that on it could help. That's a mild antifungal and rarely causes any trouble but can eliminate your problem quickly. You did say it wasn't painful but you didn't specifically say whether it itched at all. Sometimes Jock Itch doesn't start out with itching.
Other possibility could be a new allergy of some sort to detergents you're using. Did you buy any new underware and not wash before using? Sometimes the chemicals used in manufacturing clothes can be irritating to the skin. It could be a lot of things. Look at whatever you're doing differently and change it. If it is a mild allergic reaction (even more possible if it's itchy or gets raised patches, hives, eventually) then you can take some claritan or benedryl and see if that helps. If it gets worse, becomes painful or itchy and nothing else helps then get thee to a Doc after a few days. Don't let it go long. Any one of the above situations can get quite painful if you let them go. Otherwise if it's not an STD then I have no other ideas. Good Luck. |
what does "virtually no chance" mean? either there is NO chance or there is a chance. If there is even a remote possibility, I'd say go to the clinic

It's your PENIS!! Go to the doctor!!

get some gold bond going on that sucker.
have you people never gotten random shit on other body parts? true, it is the most important part of his body next to his brain, but i wouldnt flip out unless they started pussing or hurting |
I would avoid an STD test at all possible if there is absolutley no chance of it being one. They have an 8" metal q-tip that gets inserted in order to run tests on a sample from within the penis. I having trouble typing this w/o going into convulsions

Well, I'm a virgin, and I don't do drugs or anything. I've just been to the doctor a lot lately because I've been very sick, and I've had a lot of blood taken and stuff.
Could this be an allergy to medicine? I'm also getting dry mouth; due to being in bed for a week straight with a fever with an unidentified virus, I'm on a hell of a lot of medication. |
What particular medications are you on? You can look up all the side effects and possible allergic reactions on these if you know exactly what they are. Even if they're generic you can look them up.
This could definately be a side effect or allergic reaction. Have you seen a Dr for the virus you're sick with? For some reason the virus Roseola is coming to mind. Though it's generally a childhood disease I remember something about if a person wasn't infected as a child then it manifests itself as red spots in the genitals and armpits and such warmer moister areas. I will look it up. |
PS you didnt like get home from a strip club and frantically JO recently, did you? (just wondering)

It may just be the way you "handle" yourself. If you pleasure yourself and you're very dry, it may just be that you are chaffing yourself. Or it could just be irritated. Don't worry about going to a doctor, they've seen them before. When I went to see about a vas, the first 2 minutes with the doctor who I'd never met before, told me to drop em. I asked about lunch first, he wasn't amused. Oh, his name is Richard Tapper, urologist.

not ALL STD tests require the swabbing of inside the urethra. i just had an STD check up and all i had to do was pee in a cup. if they find any abnormalitys in the urine, THEN they might do the q-tip thing. the q-tip thing is normally a last resort, unless you've got a really sick and demented doctor who likes to put their patients through pain.

Red spots can also appear on the head as a result of forcing blood into the penis, which then causes some blood vessels to pop and appear as red dots. This case shouldn't be painful at all. However, if anything down there ever hurts it's a quick trip to the doctor!
|
Yeah, nothing hurts, and they're starting to go away- I think I'm just going to not do anything about it. That solves most problems.

The skin the head of my penis was red and cracked and although I didn't want to see the doctor, I did. They took a swab but its only inserted a couple of MM's down. My problem turned out to be nothing, it is clearing right up with a little steroid cream. I am not promiscuous but iv shared fluids, mostly oraly with alteast a dozen women and this is the first time I have been tested for STD's as well and everything is clear.
Just go in and see the doctor, it is nothing and you will feel better. |
