Pinhole Glasses
So there's a claim out there that pinhole glasses are capable of replacing normal glasses for seeing in focus. Supposedly they're useful for both near- and farsightedness, as well as cataracts and presbycusis, and not only do they help a person see better, but can help correct vision permanently as well.
I once heard that if something sounds too good to be true then it probably is, but as I have rather bad vision myself, I took an interest in the hype. Has anyone out there had experience with pinhole glasses? Do they work at all? Did they improve vision? Or is it all just another medical scam, praying on the unwary?

I have to be honest, I had no idea what you were talking about and so I googled pinhole glasses to find out.
This website explains how they work and has a FAQ section. They are pretty inexpensive so if they work as well as claimed, that would be fantastic... but something makes me think it is just a scam. Let us know if you get a pair and how well they work for you.
