Still in the dark ages of Discman here...

But I'm a cinephile primarily anyhow, when they bring out a device exactly like an Ipod that stores hundreds of movies and plugs into TV's and computers, I will kill my family, collect the insurance and purchase one.

This thread confuses me awfully.

But I will add my bit on the ipod issue: Don't you feel a slight bit...ridiculous? I don't know, I think I'd change out the little ear bud thingies for real earphones. But maybe I worry about my image too much sometimes.

It is true that this thread could quite possibly be the most confusing ever, but you do leave ponding whether our existence on earth is worthwhile or not. Even my own message seems to be confusing me now to. So i will leave by saying in 5 years time the ipod will be but a distent memory or a brand new purchase for those who are playing catch up.

Generally speaking, it's not really the practice of this board to open "my personal thoughts and rants" threads. I think that's what's confusing people.

"My personal thoughts and rants" are what the journals are for. Threads are meant for particular topics, and some effort is made on the part of the moderators to keep them on topic.

I recommend you go open a journal. You can even set it's name to "Pseudo-Cognitive Errata", if you want!
