left eye focuses funny
I just noticed this today when I covered up my right eye. Since I was a kid my left eye was always worst then my right eye. My guess is the time I got hit in the left eye with a tennis ball when I was maybe 8 years old. It seems when I just use my left eye to focus on something, what I focus on looks out or proportion. What I mean by that is it looks really small / farther away then it really is. If I focus on someone's head with my right eye covered up, the person's head looks really tiny.
Could this be why it seems I'm always using my right eye and not my left eye? What can be done to fix it? I had my contact lense perscription changed recently and my right eye hasn't changed, but my left eye has changed a lot Any advice or ideas what this could be? Thanks, Robert |

I have the same problem. My left eye is a little weaker than my right eye. At my last eye exam, left was 20/20 and right was 20/15. The only thing you can do is to get some glasses or like you said; get your contact prescription changed. I guess you could do the eye laser thing but even if I did need it, there's no way in hell I'd do it.

One eye usually is more dominant than the other, in your case the right one. If there was something seriously off with your left eye your optician should have caught it. But since it has turned worse with your new prescription I think you should talk with the optician about it.
