Tooth Ache
I'm not even sure if this is the proper place to post this but I've been having this wicked tooth ache for a few days now and it's starting to worry me. I'm really paranoid about my teeth, I've never had a cavity and I'm worried I may have one now. It just doesn't seem to have any of the symptoms that I've heard for a cavity.
The other day when I was brushing my teeth, I brushed and felt a sharp pain in my gums and then I noticed blood when I rinsed. I originally thought it was my top-right molar but it's the tooth next to it. Here's the weird part. If I brush that tooth from the back, no pain. If I brush it underneath, there's no pain. I only get pain if I brush the front side of it. And the only time I get pain is when I brush. There's no sensitivity to hot or cold liquids. No pain when I chew foods, etc. I also looked at the symptoms for people who need a root canal and it doesn't seem like that either. And the pain will last and shoot over to my jaw and linger for a little while but eventually stop. Anyone have any ideas what it could be? Even if you think it's just a simple tooth ache that'll go away with time. I don't have insurance right now and definitely can't afford a dentist visit unless it's something really serious. I've been brushing normally along with taking Vitamin C and Calcium with Vitamin D pills daily since they say those are good for your teeth. Thanks ahead of time. |
