What is the difference?
This might sound like a dumb question but I'm curious as to the difference between After Shave and Colonge(sp?). I mean it seems obvious to me that one goes on your face after your shave, but then what's the colonge for? I'm curious about the difference, applications, when you use which, and whatnot.

Cologne fragrance lasts much longer than after shave fragrance. After shave contains more alcohol which causes the sting and also gives a refreshing feeling.

I prefer an alcohol-free after shave, as it does not sting or dry out the face. There are many fine after-shave lotions that provide the same cooling sensation but also help to heal the skin after shaving.
