I recently picked up some Twinlab Triple Whey Fuel. Basically, as long as it's whey, I don't think brand matters much, just taste and price. Luckily mine was dirt cheap and came with glutamine too! Shop around.

People generally misuse whey protein. Whey is great for post workout supplimentation. For a daily protein look for a blended one. i use HDT problend for all around protein and Miselean MRPs. Whey is a very fast obsorbring protein and is poorly obsorbed when the body is not in a highly anabolic state! good stuff.

Can of tuna straight up everyday. All natural protein.
I recommend Bumble Bee Solid White Albacore.

Syntrax's Isomatrix is a good all around blend.
Myoplex Deluxe is a MRP though, so if you're looking for something to replace that you could try Cytosport's Muscle Milk. It has awesome flavors. I don't know where you shop, but here are my recommendations as far as online retailers go: www.1fast400.com www.dpsnutrition.net |

myoplex is cool. The issues is, why are you having problems with the frequency? I have no idea what your goal is, and I asssume its to gain.
For you to gain, consicer at least 2 shakes a day, plus (min) 3 meals. Myoplex is great because it takes a little work. water + ice, or water + frozen berries, or soymilk. Whey requires a bit more mixing and making to reac the same vitmain intake that myoplex offers. My favorite: myoplex vanilla, 6oz water, 6oz vanilla soy milk, 6 frozen strawberries - blend like hell! |

I get jamba juices with protein in them or the jamba breads with protein, and I eat meat. No need for supplements.

This is so true. You really should save the why for after workout. Be sure not to take it right before bed. Instead, take a whey and egg protein mix or soy and egg mix. If I can find the study online again I will...taking whey all the time can lead to more fat gain instead of more muscle gain..... |

This being TFP, did anyone else read the thread name and expect to see questions relating to a...different...sort of "protein supplement" ?
Closer to what's at hand, when I thought I wasn't getting enough protein in my diet I picked up Balance bars and fat-free beef jerky. *shrug* |
