Just curious if anyone else here has done Semester At Sea.

Summer of 2000 here. Best 3 months of my life.

How was it? I haven't done it, but was EXTREMELY interested. However, the ~ $15,000 wasn't quite something my parents could afford.

It was amazing! Seriously, best 3 months of my life. We were the last group to go to Israel, which was cool. It flared up about 2 months after we left.

The price is expensive, but you do get credits (I got 9 that I transfered over), and when you compare it to a semester at most schools, it's not too bad. I'll be going again sometime in the future. Probably as a senior passenger.
