Technical vs Fundamental Analysis vs the Random Walk
Who uses technical analysis and why is it better than the random walk and fundamental analysis. Vis-a-vis the same question goes with the other two. Why is one better than the other in trading stocks? (and when I say random walk I don't mean being in a drunken stupor and trying to walk, I mean index funds) Which is best and why in your opinion?

Quote:
The key is that you find something that works for you and stick with it. Too many people decide they want to be "traders" only to find out they have no idea how to manage money. The most common manifestation of this is buying stock using TA, then having it move against you and deciding it's really an "investment" now. Rather than the trading style, you should devote time to principles of money management. First lesson to be learned, and usually the hardest because it wounds our pride when we do it, is how and when to take a loss and move on. |
