Water retention question...
I started drinking a lot more water than I usually do this week, in addition to eight or so glasses I usually drink, 3 times a day I've been draining a 33 oz bottle I picked up. For the first few days, every time I did that within 10 minutes I had to go to the bathroom RIGHT NOW, but now it seems to have tapered off a bit, is something wrong, is my body absorbing extra water? I haven't gotten a lot of exercise this week, as I ripped my thigh muscle up pretty bad while doing some hiking this week.
This kinda worries me... |

I agree with HH...if you think you are drinking too much water you are wrong. The simple fact is that the body reacts to a lack of water (dehydration) by attempting to retain the limited supply you give it. If you are properly hydrated your body will discharge the excess appropriately. The benefits of proper hydration are too many to count.
If you search this forum there are plenty of threads discussing the benefits of proper hydration. Here's a LINKIE to one thread started by Plan9. He was a frequent poster in this forum who provided a lot of good information.
