Breathing water
Geez, 35 years old, and I still forget how to drink water. I just recovered from a coughing fit brought on by sending a sip of water down the wrong pipe.
Anyway, my question: You know the irritated feeling your throat gets after you attempt to breathe water this way, and how it lingers for a couple of hours? Does anyone know how to make that feeling go away? |
I don't think that's normal
A couple hours, mine only lasts a couple minutes. Try eating some food.

So, my wife and I are the only ones who experience this vague tickle for a few hours? Anyone else, please?
And no, Tekken, food or drink doesn't remove the irritation. |
hang upsided down, air is trapped. Or have your wife pat on your back to make you burp.

Belching expels water. Belching while standing on your head expels more water, and makes everyone around you wonder what the hell is wrong with you.

I don't experience this while drinking water but i do occassionally relax so much that some drool must slip into my airways. That what makes me cough and the feeling does stay for a while. Doesn't make sense that burping would clear your airway since a burp comes from your stomache, right? I suspect it just takes time and the coughing is what clears your airway.
Any other ideas?? |
