Sharp pain in penis and anus...
It's 2:30 AM and I can't get to sleep because there is a sharp pain in my penis and my anus. This started about an hour ago. I don't know how to describe it but I'm tired and frustrated and the pain just won't go away. It dies down for a little every so often but I can always sort of feel some pain down there...
I have no fucking clue what could be causing this. I'm 19 years old and have been in sexual contact (oral only) with two girls in that time -- I am 100% positive I am the only sexual partner either of them has had as well. I really don't think this is an STD. But damnit, what could it be? I don't know what to do. The pain is a lot less right now, and I just urinated and there wasn't any additional pain (nor was there relief). I'm scared and alone and it's almost 3 AM and I don't know what to do other than post here in some hope that anyone will see this and can offer some help on it. I just want to go to sleep. ... In the time it took me to type this, the pain in my penis has almost vanished, and the pain in my anus is still there but tolerable... my testicles hurt a little though. What the hell is going on. edit: I'm going to post this in the sexuality forum as well just so I can expose it to more people -- sorry mods. Last edited by saut; 09-04-2004 at 10:55 PM.. |

You might want to do a Google search of "Proctalgia fugax" and see if it sounds like what you are experiencing. I get it about once every six weeks, and it is very annoying, especially when it wakes you up at night, but it is not really a threat to your overall health. In my case, it usually only lasts 45 minutes to an hour, though - not all night.
However, pain in the penis is usually not associated with proctalgia fugax (in fact, p.f. usually causes a world-class erection), and for that reason, I would suspect it could be a prostate inflammation, since prostate pain is often referred to the penis. In any case, see your doctor right away - despite your assertion that it's not STD related, herpes simplex can cause lesions that become inflamed and create these same symptoms. Good luck.

Proctalgia fugax? So it DOES have a name! Man oh man, I thought I was going nuts. I first got that in the dorms, and I totally thought I passed out at a party or something and that I should expect the photos of a huge dildo in my ass within a week.
Anyway, yeah, I haven't experienced pain in the penis with that. Have you seen a doctor by now? |
