ear to jaw pain??
I'm having the typical ear to jaw pain that one has during a sinus infection (aka it hurts on one side when i swallow); the problem is that I have a flight later today around 3 and I was wondering if there were any solutions to this pain. I'm worried about my ear drum rupturing during the flight and I need a quick solution.
thanks, alec |

Earplugs for one. They may help some. Also if it is a sinus infection or the eustation tube is plugged taking some tylenol or ibuprophen, and a decongestant (pseudophedren hydrocloride) should help the actual symptoms somewhat. You can try using a saline spray if you have a sinus infection that can help to heal the mucus membranes somewhat. You could also use a nasal spray for the short term. You often can get a rebound effect from those so don't use it for long. But you could just use it to get through the fight.
Sorry just realized the time of your post and what time it is. I hope it went ok. If you have a return flight and get on before that perhaps this can help.
