While I'm running I find that my head gets really itchy after I start sweating. I use hair gel but I wash it out before I start running, and I've used Finesse shampoo for as long as I can remember, and don't think I have a dry scalp, no dandruff to speak of either. Any ideas what I can do to clear this up? I'd like to think of a doctor or dermatologist as a last resort, it's nothing I can't live with.

I get itchy all over when I start sweating, but once it's going I'm fine. Sorry cant help you with cause or way to stop it, I just got used to it.

Switch to a clarifying shampoo for about two weeks - and see if it makes a difference (something like neutrogena)

Maybe it's buildup from the gel and the shampoo

I have the same problem, and I don't know the cure, good luck to ya. I just ignore it personally, but if it's not normal for you, you may want to consult a doctor

Same thing happens to me - not so extreme maybe but I get an itch on my scalp when I sweat but don't tend to have an itchy scalp otherwise.
