Holy Crap!
I came home from school back in May and promptly jumped on my bike. Ive always had a thing for cycling, and had just bought a new road bike, but hadnt had much time to ride it. Now that I was home, I did. I also cut out all the nasty food-service/cafeteria food, followed by ice cream, washed down with a couple beers--mostly by accident. When its not there, its not tempting, right?
I was walking by a scale the other day, and jumped on just to see what I weighed. Imagine my surprise to find I had dropped 20 pounds since mid May. Add to that the fact that my legs are now huge from all the cycling, and I suspect its rather closer to 25-30. Im 5'9, and weighed 175--Im now at 155. Totally accidental weight loss, and I love it. I certainly wasnt fat, but I definitely had a bit of paunch that comes with my schoolyear eating habits and lack of serious exercise. Now the trick is going to be keeping it off once I go back to school :eek: |

Takes 3 weeks to build a habit, you've already got into the healthy habit -- so going back to school shouldn't be much of a problem -
